Charles A. Bookman
Firm Partner Charles "Chuck" Bookman practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury. Attorney Bookman graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 1995. After graduation from law school, he began his legal career as a Public Defender in Nashua, New Hampshire. Thereafter, he served as arbitration counsel for John Hancock Insurance and then for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts prosecuting cases of professional misconduct in the medical field. More recently, he worked as an associate at Bratton & Springer in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he concentrated his practice in the area of criminal defense. Attorney Bookman has represented thousands of individuals facing criminal charges ranging from drunk driving to homicide. In 2005, Attorney Bookman established his own practice in Melrose, where he was raised. Attorney Bookman is a graduate of Melrose High school and holds a B.A. in Policy Studies from the Maxwell School of Government at Syracuse University. He is a member of the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
